Alain Phoébé Caprice a plusieurs cordes à son arc. Il est à la fois artiste-peintre, poète, écrivain, photographe, artiste du bois.

Né le 3 septembre 1944 à Fort-de-France en Martinique, il vit et travaille en Guadeloupe depuis 1965. Actuellement à la retraite, il se donne avec passion à toutes ses activités artistiques. Il est en outre passionné de "Gwoka" (musique, danse et chant traditionnels de Guadeloupe).

En suivant les pas de Caprice dans les dédales de ce site, vous aurez une vision differente de la Guadeloupe, hors des sentiers battus de cartes postales pour touristes, une ballade poétique dans le pays profond et de ses "gens", ses moeurs, ses us et coutumes, ses légendes, ses douleurs et ses peines, mais aussi sa joie de vivre et sa capacité à se projeter dans l'avenir.

Alain Phoébé CAPRICE has more than one sting to one's bow. He is, as the same time, painter-artist, poèt, writer and photograph. He was born the 3 of september of 1944 at Fort-de-France in the french carribean island of Martinique. Actually, he live and work in another french carribean island : Guadeloupe, since 1965. Actually retired, he practise with happyness his different artistic activities. He has also à thru passion for traditionnal music of Guadeloupe : the "Gwoka".

Alain Phoebe CAPRICE tiene más de una flecha en su arco. Es al mismo tiempo pintór poeta escritor y fotografo. Nació el 3 de septiembre del año 1944 en la isla de Martínica en el Caribe pero vive y trabaja en Guadalupe otra isla del Caribe desde el año 1965.
Hoy, retirado, CAPRICE practica con sabor y sentimiento todas sus actividades artisticas. Tiene también una pasion por la música y las danzas traditionales de Guadalupe : "El Gwoka".
